Message from the President
Thank you for your interest in the Briermost Foundation. Briermost is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides safe housing and sobriety support to women in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol. We support only women because women are far more underserved than men.
We provide a compassionate community that helps to develop strong tools for continuing recovery. We offer opportunities to live independently. We also provide training in workforce development, resume writing, conflict resolution skills, money management, and other educational areas.
Our goal is to generate purpose in living and success in life.
Currently, we operate 3 recovery homes, 2 in Cleveland Heights and the other in North Royalton. The North Royalton property includes a small farm on its 5+ acres. Residents there gain agriculture training, experience in growing, and marketing at various venues across Cuyahoga County.
We are excited to announce that plans are progressing to open a new recovery complex supporting women with children – a resource in very short supply and great need. We will update our website as things progress.
Check out the links to “On the Road of Recovery”, another project we are excitedly engaged in. This project looks to inspire hope, educate the community, and establish connectedness by sharing recovery stories from a wide range of people across Ohio. Efforts are underway to take this program nationally.
Within our website you will find a wealth of information regarding the many programs and resources offered by the Briermost Foundation.
We have a passion for continued success in helping those in need. If you share our passion, please consider a donation to help us sustain our quality programs.
